Upgrade for Swiss Busbetrieb Aarau: FareGo FlexT|50 replaces aging ticket vending machines

|   Fare-Collection-Systems

As part of an upcoming schedule change in December 2025, the Swiss Busbetrieb Aarau AG (BBA) is upgrading its ticketing infrastructure : As older, maintenance-heavy devices age out, they will be replaced with our new FareGo FlexT|50 ticket vending machines, which already see widespread, successful use in Graubünden.

Why did BBA go for the FareGo FlexT|50? The answer is clear:

Maximum flexibility: One device, two applications – mobile or stationary.

Contactless-ready: Supports contactless debit/credit cards, smart cards and barcodes for fast, barrier-free ticketing.

Future-proof design: Modular components allow for quick maintenance.

We thank BBA for their trust and look forward to delivering a user-friendly and efficient ticketing solution for their passengers. The first units will be on show at BBA’s Open Day on August 16, 2025!
